23rd Composers’ Forum Osnabrück (Ger)

I have the honour to have been selected as profile composer for the 23rd edition of the event series Composers’ Forum Osnabrück (Osnabrücker Komponistenforum). The event series has been arranged once or twice a year since 2001 at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Music.
The 23rd edition occurs on 31 January – 1 February 2019 at the Garden House (Gartenhaus), Caprivistraße 1 in Osnabrück (Ger), in collaboration with the composition class of Ali Gorji. The 2-day programme includes:
– a masterclass for the composition students,
– four public instrumental workshops (trumpet, recorder, double bass, harp), showcasing the sonic potential of these four instruments,
– a public pre-concert talk (lecture) presenting my artistic work,
– a portrait concert featuring the following 5 solo works, performed by 5 fantastic soloists:
Dialogues Extatiques (2017-19) for prepared and amplified double bass – world premiere (version 2);
played by Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka.
Dialogues Sauvages (2013-14) for prepared and amplified Paetzold square bass recorder in F or C;
played by Anna Petrini.
Dialogues Rêvants (2014-17) for prepared and amplified harp,
played by Katharina Teufel-Lieli.
Dialogues Fragiles (2011) for prepared and amplified violin;
played by Miako Klein.
Dialogues Dangereux (2017-19) for two prepared trumpets in Bb or C (one player) – world premiere (version 2);
played by Paul Hübner.
